Vehicle Permits and Licenses

 

This is just a friendly reminder that all Trailers, Vehicles and ORVs at the Boat Club must be properly licensed and permitted as required by the State of Wyoming.  This issue came up recently when a "concerned citizen" contacted the Buffalo Bill State Park and also the State office in Cheyenne stating that there are vehicles/trailers that are not properly licensed in the park/Boat Club.  This person is not a Boat Club member but a resident in the area as I understand.  I was notified of the complaint and as a result, walked the club area to see what violations there could be.  I was surprised to find four 5th wheel trailers, five boat trailers and one vehicle in violation.  I have contacted all of those with violations and several have already been addressed.

 

The State has given the club until the 1st of January 2020 to get our violations corrected before they take any further action.  I think this is very considerate of them as they did not have to do that.  They are giving us this time due to the holidays and in consideration that we are not there during the winter.  We certainly do not need this kind of attention at the club so please make sure you are keeping your licenses and permits up to date.  Our club is on Federal land that is leased by the state then to the club and as such we must always stay in compliance with their rules.
